There is a difference and having self-esteem certainly does not =
hubris
I think you should just stop complicating things for yourself
because if pride is at ground 0, having some pride would mean you
are at ground zero too but an excessive amount of it to say 1 would
be hubris since for every measurement there is still room for some
variance.
